Nick Harvey

While Nick became a fan of voting reform during his time at Queens University and York University, he became an active campaigner after learning about Ottawa123’s campaign in 2014. As an advocate for the co-operative movement, he sits on and leads numerous boards of directors and committees locally as well as on the North American scale, and knows the value of properly engaging people in order to inform the decision making process. Dedicated to equity issues and access to justice for low-income individuals, Nick received the Social Justice award from Humber College in Toronto in 2009 and is a proud volunteer tutor-mentor with the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.
